Voltage Regulator for Two and Four Stroke Scooters 49cc-150cc scooters ATVs, buggys and carts plus motorcycles.

This voltage regulator is found in alot of scooters under the front panel or right side under rear side panel. The voltage regulator will charge the battery and run some of the lights but its main function is charging battery, if you do not have 13.8volts at battery when scooter is running not idle than you are not charging battery and voltage regulator could be the problem.
