SRC Number 16

This scooter started out in 2006 as a Power Sports Factory Euro Strada RX8 built by QJ with a Linhai Yamaha two stroke 40QMB engine.

To get number 16 ready to race we removed all lighting, electric start, battery, all stock trans parts.

For performance we added a aluminum 47mm cylinder kit taking it to 70cc. We used alum cylinder for better cooling since it would be running WOT most of the time. Adding Polini variator, Prodigy clutch and bell along with Polini kevlar belt with tecnigas 70 exhaust soon to sport a Polini Race exhaust. The weights are 5 gram Dr Pulley for take off with an 21mm OKO carb with manual clutch. High Performance throttle body added along with Motion Pro throttle cable. The tires remain stock for now with Vee Rubber slicks going on in the future. We like Michelin Boopers that are on SRC #53 Yamaha Zuma
