We have found the gas tank mount type in a lot of scooters does not work as well as one outside the tank which is always easily cared for and replaced. Scootertronics has put together a kit to eliminate the gas tank valve and allow for a better flowing valve be installed. We find this type of set up works much better when gas flow is a problem plus this can can be used to elimate the problem. During long periods of time of not running your scooter engine and proper break in the fuel will clog with a varnish from fuel additives. Gas tank mount valve are hard to remove and replace plus care for, eliminate the problem. When installing new fuel pumps sometimes fuel line seems to small, very easy to fix and make your life much better.
